He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sandy Büter and Betty Büter; his wives, Terry Lynn Büter and Ruth Alice Büter; his son James Allan Büter; his siblings, Mia Klüg, Jane Büter and Steve Kevin Büter (Big); his children, Melissa Rowley, Teri Lee Büter, Janice Miller, Dianna Jo Büter, Kevin Büter (Shorty), Freddy Miller and Marty Rowley; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Kaitlin Büter, Marla, Layton Rowley, Kalli, April Miller, Jennifer Long, Wes, Shannon Calhoun, Clyde Beyrer, William Yourman, Bradley, Nicholas, Justin and Tori Locher. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and great grand kids.
