It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lyle Gardner (Bowie, Maryland), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha "Bert" Gardner and Charles "Charlie" Gardner Jr. of Bellmawr, NJ. C. He is survived by: his children, Amanda of Bowie, MD, Jonathan of Crofton, MD and Allison of Hilo, HI; his granddaughter Scarlett; his brothers, David (Patti) and Mark (Holly); his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Ryan, Jes, James, Andrew, Carolyn, Lauren, Matt, Marc, Geoff, Leanne and Chuck; and his friends, Barbara, Paul, Marty, Verne and Jack.

The family will host a celebration of life in the months ahead, pending improvements with Covid19.
