He is survived by: his wife Valorie Matthews Parsons; his children, John Parsons (Danielle), Charles Oliver Parsons III, Charlett Cheeks (Ty), Leslie Green (Donald), Ashley Parsons Anderson (Carl) and Jacquelyn Parsons; his granddaughters, Alexis Parsons of Salisbury, Janet Fagans (Frank) of Edgewood, Samantha Matthews of Cambridge, Rosetta Mills (Rick) of Mocksville and Valorie Thomas (Clarence) of Hurlock, Maryland; his sister Jacqueline Johnson of Fruitland, Maryland; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Matthews of Camden and Emmanuel Matthews of Salisbury, Maryland.. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
