He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Menosky (Margaret Brooks) and Stratford; and his son Stephen. He is survived by: his children, Peter Menosky of Atlanta and Christine Follett of Annapolis; his former wife Eleanor Follett Menosky (Elly) of Annapolis; his sister Marilyn Mudrick; his brother-in-law Rich; his nieces, Maryellen and Norine; and his grandchildren, Akahne Kopecheck (Kyle) of Columbus and Trey Menosky of Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (https://secure.cbf.org), WPFW 89.3 FM, and Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) - three causes that reflect his lifelong passions for the water and music.
