Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Highsmith and Betty Highsmith; and his son Brian Michael Highsmith. He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney (Kenny Mazzone) and Katelynn Highsmith (Joseph Wilson); his grandchildren, Harrison, Brooks and Kendall; his significant other Mary Whitney; and his siblings, Glenn Highsmith (Terry) and Alice Lentz (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beall Funeral Home (6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church (16510 Mt Oak Rd, Bowie, MD 20716).
