With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George P. Ratte Jr. (Bowie, Maryland), who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Ratté and Opel Walsvig Ratté; his brother Kenneth; his brother-in-law Ned Burford; and his in-laws, Paul and Catherine Lavezzo.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Lavezzo; his children, Lisa (Dan), David (Vera) and Jeff (Austin); and his grandchildren, Joseph, John, Michael, Jane, Alexander, Nathaniel and Jonathan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Pius X Catholic Church (14720 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
