It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Louise Davitt of Bowie, Maryland, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis D'Amico and Frances D'Amico (Arasimowicz); and her sisters, Mary Ann Davis (D'Amico) and D. Diane Faatz (D'Amico) of Scranton Pennsylvania. She is survived by: her children, Christine Marie (Edwin Hostetter) of Baltimore, MD, William Louis (Jackie Horton) of Annapolis, MD, Lynne Davitt (Robert Chiswell) of Gaithersburg, MD and Stephen James of Bowie, MD.; her granddaughters, Jenifer Chiswell McGlone (Ryan) of Damascus, MD and Holly Chiswell Bell (Brett) of Monterey, CA.; and her great grandchildren, Ryan McGlone, Jr. and Chloe McGlone.
