She was predeceased by: her husband Norbert; her son Steven; her parents, Janina and Alexander; her brother Eugene; and her sisters-in-law, Kay, Josephine (John) and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her friends, Ron and Erika Kile; her aunt Janina; her daughters, Elaine (David Wilkinson), Tish and Cee; her granddaughter Janine; and her nieces and nephews, Joyce, Bev, Mary Alice, Terry, Eugene, Butch, Cheryl and Michael. She is also survived by six great-nieces and nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (14720 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715). A repast will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
To honor this passion, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's name to First Book, a nonprofit organization that provides books and educational resources to children in low-income communities.
