He was predeceased by: his father Leon James; and his son Marcus Aurelius. He is survived by: his children, Henry W. James II (Angela) and Melissa Christine; his wife Melissa Spence; his daughter Michelle; his daughter-in-law Sheree; his grandchildren, Nikaya, Tyson, Leia and John Henry; and his siblings, Pat, Pearlette, Leon, JoAnn and Jerry.
