She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles Anthony Huseman, Sr.; and her sister Vilma Vieras. She is survived by: her husband Col. Angel Daniel "Danny" Ortiz, Sr.; her children, Cheryl Richardson (Randy) and Charles "Chuck" Huseman, Jr. (Kelly); her stepchildren, Diana Saxton (Matt), Lexy Riddle (Shawn) and Danny G. Ortiz (Rosa); her grandchildren, Emily, Collin, Kaitlyn and Genevieve; and her mother Maria Guzman. She is also survived by her step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home (16000 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715).
