Jane Ellen McClay Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 91, Jane Ellen McClay (Bowie, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy and John S. Charlton of Dover; and her husband William A. McClay, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Diana), Steve, Tom (Jennifer) and Jimmy (Penny); her grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan (Sierra), Blaine (Amanda), Shelby, Kayleigh, Kennedey, Delaney, Zach and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Beckham, Lorelei and Cirilla.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jane and Bill's Home (3548 Madonna Ln, Bowie, MD 20715).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of Charlton, John S. Charlton School, 278 Sorghum Mill Road, Camden, DE 19934.
