He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Perrier Perret; his parents, Joseph Maxime Perret, Sr. and Shirley Aleman Perret; and his brothers, Max, Henry, Tom and Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Francis Perret, Jr. (Colleen), Joni MacDonald (William), Nancy Ann Stuehler (William), Lynn Marie Ross (James), Leigh Ann Perret Dowd (Robert), Mary Ann Perret (James Baldwin), James Perrier "Perry" Perret (Michelle) and Paul Aleman Perret (Pamela); and his brothers, William and John. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
