She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Blanco and Amalia Blanco (Carrillo); her daughter Lisa Margaret; and her brother Alfonso. She is survived by: her significant other Patrick Hollaren; her daughter Angela Bateman (James); her grandsons, Dylan Bateman, Evan Roe and Jesse Bateman; her great grandchildren, Sky, Kara and Daisy; and her sisters, Mary Garay (Richard) and Birdie Meyer (Joe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Towards the end of her life, when pottery became difficult, she expressed her talents through painting, which she gave to family and friends and sold for charity.
