It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mezzy Grace MacKenzie of Bowie, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth H., Sr. and Mezzy Weaver Hale Landis; her husband David H. MacKenzie, Sr.; and her sister Suzanne L. Patrick. She is survived by: her children, David H. MacKenzie, Jr. (Beppie) of Bowie, MD, Kenneth A. MacKenzie (Rebecca) of Lugoff, SC and Sharon M. Wooten (Bryant) of Elkton, MD; her grandchildren, Than David, Carlene Mozell (Carli), Aidin Landis, Emily Kaitlin, Ian Axtell, Cait MacKenzie, Reid Alexander, Jack Andrew and Anne Grace; and her sons, P. A., P. O. Box and Perryville, MD.
