He is survived by: his wife Angela Gonzales Balfe; his children, Michelle Balfe (Justin Ontjes) and Michael G. Balfe; his grandchildren, Ethan and Parker Ontjes; his sister Pat Thompson; and his nieces, Jennifer Takes (John) and Elizabeth'Betsy' Phelps (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
