With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Okeysha Brooks-Coley (Bowie, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 49. She is survived by: her husband Derrick; her children, Julia, Marshall, Henry and Claira; her parents, Michael Brooks and Francesca Brooks of Pasadena, MD; her parents-in-law, Doretha Coley of Capitol Heights, MD and Derrick Sauls (Vera) of Raleigh, NC; her siblings-in-law, Shiloh Sauls of Atlanta, GA, Yasmin Odunukwe of Elkridge, MD, Xelandria Sauls of Raleigh, NC and Shaliese Sherrell of Durham, NC; and her grandfather-in-law Beatrice Sauls of Boston, MA. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
