She is survived by: her children, Dawn Michele Harris (Patterson) and Michael Scantling (Patricia); her grandchildren, Shannon Julia (Edison), Joshua Patterson (Victoria), Darin Harris, Jr. and Devan Harris; her cousins, Lynda Murray-Jackson (Andre) and Dorothy Walker; and her goddaughters, Sunday Ross, Joy Henderson and Justine Pearson. She is also survived by friends, "adopted sons".
