She is survived by: her sons, Robert Clay Brown and Michael Alan Brown; her foster son Dr. Robert Moultrie; her grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Austin Brown, Maia Brown and Simone Brown; her siblings, Alice Scott-Lenard, Beulah Cofer, Jeffrey Bates (Alicia), Warren Bates and Harold Jackson; and her goddaughter Melissa Swinton-Ghafoor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
