Philip leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Philip’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Philip will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip J. Cressy Sr. and Jeanette Hartzell Cressy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley May Boehnke Cressy; his children, Chris (Sophie), Mary, Cathy (David), Donna (Len) and Lisa (Mark); and his sister Mary Fernandez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Pius Catholic Church (14716 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
