It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Walter Kurtz of Bowie, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kurtz and Helen Kurtz (Tonker); and his brothers, Jerry Dorr (Gerald), Nick (Clarence), Richard and Lloyd Kurtz.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Given Kurtz; his siblings, George Kurtz and Jenny Starkey Willis (Elizabeth); and his friends, Donny Cabrera (Benito), Bob Stewart (Robert), Mike and Willie Divver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
