He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerline Carter and Arthur Grant. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte A. Johnson (Parker); his children, Wanda D. Johnson, Jeffrey R. Johnson (Lynette) and Charlette M. Johnson; his brothers, William West and Eric West; his cousin Earl Nelson; and his extended family Ronnie Footes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
