He is survived by: his brother Luther W. Starnes (Joyce); his children, Victoria Jane Starnes (John Ewald), Thomas Eliot Starnes (Barbara Davis) and Floyd Duncan Gomez-Starnes (Carlos); his grandchildren, Keott Gomez-Starnes, Rachel Starnes Sorrentino (Thomas), Jacob Ewald (Jess Flynn), Hannah VanMeter (Max), Dylan Gomez-Starnes, Joseph Starnes and Daniel Starnes; and his great grandchildren, Kendall Gomez-Starnes, Grace, J. D., Luke, Jack VanMeter and Flynn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
