She is survived by: her children, Courtney Brown (Marcia) and Carla Patterson (Doniger); her grandchildren, Alyssa Patterson (Evan), Justin Patterson (Nadia) and James "JB" Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Roland Brown, Marion Brown, Carolyn Brown, Marilyn Brown, Betty Clayton and Joyce Johnson. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
