Vera Mae Harris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Mae Harris (Bowie, Maryland), who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pernell and Evie Elizabeth Pernell; her husband Leo Raymond Harris, Jr.; and her daughter Melanie Lynnette. She is survived by: her daughters, Adrienne Michele, Stephanie Kay of Bowie, MD and Paula Elizabeth (James) of Manassas, VA.; her grandchildren, Shannen LeNay Moon of Manassas, VA and Devon Anthony Bedford of Woodbridge, VA; and her great grandchild Jeremiah Moon of Manassas, VA.. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, cousins, nieces and great nieces, nephews and great nephews, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Community Outreach and Food Pantry Ministry at the Largo Community Church.
