We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 75, Joan Shipe (Boyds, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Shipe to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertram Claude Hayner Sr. and Florence Lula Hayner (McWilliams). She is survived by : her husband Robert Shipe (Bob); her children, Russell Shipe, Lori Augustine and Scott Shipe; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon, Ryan, Eric, Abigail and Caleb; her brother Bertram Hayner Jr.; and her mother-in-law Ruth Shipe.

In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting that donations in Joan's honor be made to the Samaritan's Purse.
