Shaffer; his mother Mary Louise Shaffer (Glasscock); his sons, Justin Shaffer and Aaron Lempert; his sister Susan L. Cassidy; his grandchildren, Madison, Zachary and Christopher; his nephew Ryan Cassidy; and his niece Shannon Pisculli.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Transplant Center which allowed Mike eleven more years to spend with his loved ones. Please consider donating to share that gift with as many people as possible.
