He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver A. Willey and Carrie Park Willey; his wife Diane Willey; his siblings, Leonard Willey and Ruth Brady; and his stepson Troy.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Annabel Marshall and Shirley Diane Pearson of Trappe, MD.; his children, Carrie L. Whitby (Chuck) and James O. Willey of Preston, MD; his grandchildren, Courtney, Keghan and Tiffany Willey; his brother Oliver Willey (Margie); his stepson Chris Pearson (Helene); his stepgrandchildren, Catherine Stichberry (John), Sam Pearson, Shawn Pearson and Ryan Pearson; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ember and Audrey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that plants be donated to be placed in Richard's yard.
