She is survived by : her son Dean (Stacey); her stepson Donovan Simpson; her grandchildren, Taylor Deane Brooks (James White) and Evan Dean Brooks; her siblings, Warren Magruder, Cynthia Colbert, Doretha Savoy, Nathaniel Magruder and Wendell Magruder (Phyllis); her uncle Augustus Brooks; her aunts, Beatrice Hawkins, Dorothy Magruder and Catherine Brooks; her cousin Irene Savoy; her siblings-in-law, Bernard Brooks, Sr. and Marlene Brooks; and her nieces and nephews, Dirk Magruder, Cynthia Brooks, Bernard Brooks, Jr., Daryl Savoy, Robert of Washington, Damean Brooks, Patriece Brooks, Jodie Penny, Tiffany Spooner and Katara Magruder. She is also survived by cousins and many friends.
