He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cales and Dorothy Cales; his brothers, Ralph Cales, Floyd Cales and Johnny Cales; and his grandson Keith Dickerson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Gonsman (Virginia); his daughter Lissa Dickerson of Brandywine Maryland; his grandchildren, Nahvarj Mills and JacQuelynn Dickerson; and his sisters, Yvonne Lauria, Teressa Jones of Mechanicsville and Deborah Murphy of Leland.
