He was predeceased by : his parents, Adebisi Akinleye and Obafunke Akinleye; and his wife Irene Ogbebor Akinleye. He is survived by : his family Ibadan; his children, Yewande E. Akinleye, Olubode E. Akinleye and Omoloade R. Akinley; and his sisters, Professor Elise Olufunke Adewoye and Folasade Grace Akinleye-Adeyeye. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and darling in-laws.
