She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Trent and Virginia Beatrice Smith; and her sisters, Anna Lyons, Audrey Vanison and Marla Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael and Paul Okoro; her brother Robert N. Smith; her daughter-in-law Andrea Okoro; and her grandchildren, Jada and Ikem Okoro. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
