He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Phillips of Pennsylvania and Linda E. Morgan of North Carolina. He is survived by: his children, Robert Phillips Jr. (Monica) and Theresa Phillips (Richard Meyerdirk); his grandchildren, Melissa, Mariana (Brian), Tyler, Eden, Meadow and Liberty; and his great grandchild Noah.
