He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Olivarri and Carmen Garcia Olivarri; his brother Cruz; his sister-in-law Sarah; his sisters, Jovita Olivarri and Josephine Matthey; his brother-in-law Julius Matthey; and his siblings' children, Junior and Yvonne.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Sensabaugh Olivarri; his sons, James J. Olivarri of Brookeville, MD, Jon A. Olivarri of Parkville, MD and Michael J. Olivarri of Silver Spring, MD; his grandchildren, Ana Sophia and Michael Alexander Olivarri of Silver Spring, MD; and his siblings, Alex, John (Grace), Michael (Nena) and Julia Rodriguez (Jesse).
