With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Simms of Brookeville, Maryland, who passed away on December 13, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George E. Simms Jr.; and her parents, William Arthur and Eleanora Marshall Hood. She was also cherished by her husband, 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
