He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Chmar and Mollie Chmar; and his sister Deborah Yaffe. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Chmar; his daughters, Karen London (Steven) and Allyson Geber (Benjamin); his sister-in-law Susan (Barry Yaffe); his granddaughters, Sidney and Charlotte London; and his nieces and nephews, Susan, Michael Stein, Amy Chmar, Joey, Andrea Yaffe and Lisa Yaffe.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
