She is survived by: her husband Carl Nelson, III; her children, Keith Nelson (Hala), Stacy Levery (Robert), Alan Nelson (Betsy) and Timothy Nelson; her grandchildren, Kaleb Levery, Declan Levery and Sary Alcala Shehadeh; her sisters, Mary Smith and Judi McGinley; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Kuznicki (Ray), Wayne Nelson (Jane) and Elaine Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
