As Bernardine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernardine. Though Bernardine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Dillard Deville; her sons, Michael and Dennis Deville; and her grandson Samuel Deville. She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Tester (Tom) of Selbyville, Jeannine McCarrick (Todd) of Ferndale and Charmaine Deville of Glen Burnie, Maryland.; and her husband Cajun. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (6405 S Orchard Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090).
