With sadness, we share the passing of Harry Burriss (Brooklyn Park, Maryland). Harry, born on January 14, 1947, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Charles Goetz III; and his brother James Burriss. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Burriss; his children, Bryant Burriss (Nina) and Coressa Burriss-Stebbings; his grandchildren, Robert T. Stebbings, Emma Burriss, Sarah Burriss and Matthew Burriss; and his sisters, Mary E. Carter, Darlene Thompkins, Debra Huber and Connie Shriner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, Great-nieces and Great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
