Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Hughes (Brooklyn Park, Maryland), born in South Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 88, on December 31, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Mary Lardner Hughes; and his sibling Thomas Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Joan Scully Hughes; his children, Sharon Wible (Tom), John Hughes Jr. "Jack" (Debbie), Kevin Hughes (Gina) and Kathleen Oleszczuk (Joe); his grandchildren, Tommy Wible Jr. (Tara), Katie Murphy (Mike), Sarah Hughes, Brendan Hughes, Maura, Liam, Meghan Oleszczuk and Blessed; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nora Murphy; and his siblings, Eileen Rolka, Maureen Weinholt, Edward Hughes, Richard Hughes, Sheila Franklin, Martin Hughes, Michael "Mickey" Hughes and Kathleen Hughes.
