With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Hager (Brooklyn Park, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 69. She is survived by: her husband James Johnson Jr.; her children, Shawn Hager (Dawn Hager), Jamie Hager (Tonya Hager), Christine Chapman (Timothy Chapman), James Johnson III (Elisa Rosado) and Nicholas Johnson; her grandchildren, Shawn Hager Jr., Gayle Hager, Ashley Hager, Jasmin Hager, Calio Vannarath, Jaylynn Hager of Jamie Hager, TJ Chapman, Thomas Chapman, Alayah Johnson, Alena Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Nicholas Johnson Jr. and Delayza Carter Johnson; her great grandchild Kiarrie Green; and her siblings, Joeseph Tuminello, Mike Tuminello, John Tuminello and Theresa Auzenne.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
