He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma McGlone and Russell Elkins Dawson; and his brother Larry Joe Dawson. He is survived by: his children, Russell Dawson (Kristen), Lisa Sampson (Steve Sampson) and David Dawson (Lillian Dawson); his grandchildren, Alex, Sean Sampson, Trenna Dawson, Crystal Rojas and Brooke Dawson; his great grandchildren, Lennox and Layla Sampson; his sibling Trenna Kay Dawson; and his close friend Marcel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
