As Curtis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Curtis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Curtis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Butler and Thelma Butler; his brothers, Roger and Kenneth Butler; and his grandson Nathan Howe.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Butler; his children, Renee Howe (Robert) and Michael Bratcher; and his grandchildren, Ariana and Alexander Howe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122).
Memorial contributions may be made in Curtis's name to a local veteran organization or a local wrestling team, causes that held special meaning to him.
