It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Otto Lehman (Brooklyn, Maryland), who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Lehman and Mary Lehman (Wallis); and his sister Dorothy Kazmer. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Balonis; his children, Jeanne Strickler (Ted), Richie Lehman, Ken Lehman and Ron Lehman; his grandchildren, Steve Strickler (Jessica), Adam Strickler (Erica) and Ryan Strickler (Madison); his great grandchildren, Molly, Kate, Sara, Ella and Gwen; and his sisters, LaVerne Hovley (Marv) and Rita Patrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery (1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032).
