It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Michael Gannon of Bryantown, Maryland, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gannon and Leland Gannon; and his wife Ida. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Brenda Teutsch (David) of La Plata, MD, John Sweeney (Susan) of Waldorf, MD, Jeffrey Sweeney (Louise) of Bryans Road, MD and Robert Sweeney; his brother Charles Gannon of Manassas, VA; his grandchildren, Michael Sweeney, Carey Richmond, Bobby Wyatt, Shannon Wyatt, Hillary Sweeney, Katie Sheldon, Jeffrey Sweeney and Stacey Sweeney; his sister-in-law Rosemarie Moore (Douglas); and his cousin Melvin Fones. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
