He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Lutes and Willie Lutes; and his siblings, Christine, Don, Bill, Jeri, Kay and Rita.
He is survived by: his wife Dorma; his children, Cheryl Verostek (John) and Richard Lutes, Jr. (Michelle); his granddaughters, Victoria and Alexandra Yetley; and his siblings, Toby and Joanne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
