He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Elizabeth and George Purnell Frederick, Sr.; his siblings, George Purnell Frederick Jr., Sean Frederick, Emily LaRuby Frederick-Armstrong and Aletha Barnes; his godmothers, Aletha Barnes and Emily LaRuby Frederick-Armstrong (Sean Frederick); his brothers-in-law, Wallace Thomas and Joseph Barnes; and his great-nephews, Keith Gross-Thomas and Keishawn Frederick.

He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Ann Thomas, John Henry Frederick (Kathy), Douglas Frederick (Vickie), Dennis Frederick (Kim), Elvis Frederick (Joyce), Garnell Frederick, Mark Frederick (Dana), Doretha Davis (Donald), LaGretta Thompson and Rosalind Townsend; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Frederick and Phillip Armstrong. He is also survived by many loving family members, friends and his second family.
