She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillary Vincent Pritchett and Areida Blythe Pritchett (Meredith); her sisters, Dora Murphy and Louise Bramble; and her significant other Amos "Smitty" Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Mayes Shockley; her children, Carlye Shockley (Susan), Sherry Krewson (Bob), Gary Shockley (Sophie), Areida Blythe (Mike) and Wendi Haines (Pete); her friend Johnny Grenadier; her aunt Lorraine; her cousin Lorraine; Edward Pritchett. She is also survived by her 5 children, 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 16 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home (308 High St, Cambridge, MD 21613). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
