Alan Fenick wrote a sympathy message

“To Kay Camper: My sincere condolences on the loss of your husband. I hope that your loss and pain may lessen over time with the knowledge that your husband is now in Paradise promised to us in scripture. While I never met your husband I feel he was an extension of you knowing you and working with you! I wish I could have been at the service, and offer my support, but my physical condition limited my participation! With love and respect. Alan Fenick”

Steve Perry wrote a sympathy message

“Sorry to hear about the lost of a friend and person who I respected as a person and a coach. Coach Camper was coach and father figure to a lot of his player. I enjoyed coaching against Coach Camper because he brought the best out of me as a coach when I coached at North Caroline HS. Coach always showed up to the NC and CSD games after he retired. Always took time to give me some advice. Going to miss my friend.. R.I.P Camp. Sincerely, Steve Perry”
