She was predeceased by: her parents, John K. Dixon and Desta Willison Dixon; her husband Wendell E. Hanft, Sr.; and her siblings, Richard Dixon and Nancy Ocheltree.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Mellon (Benny) of South Carolina, Kenneth Hanft of Frederick, Wendell "Rocky" Hanft (Bonnie) of Cumberland, Lawrence Hanft (Debbie) of Hagerstown, Candice Hoffman (Howard) of Cambridge and Bruce Hanft (Sandy) of West Virgnia. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
