He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Sammons and Reba Mae Faulkner Bulawa; and his wife Audrey Wilcox. He is survived by: his children, Steven Sammons (April) and Cindy Sammons Barnes (Dave); his stepdaughters, Lisa Nield (Tom), Patricia Hallowell (Tommy) and Jennifer Edgar (Guy); his grandchildren, Adam Sammons, Amber Sammons Salvador, Ben Hill, Shawn Hill, Tyler Hill, Caitlin Hill, Marcia Neild Groton, Lee Neild, TJ Hallowell, Logan Hallowell and Guy Edgar IV; and his sister Wanda Fitzhugh. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
